DA&A Presents: 6-Day, 5-Night Craft Tour into the Metal Craft of Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata, Japan!

The long-awaited Craft Tour to Tsubame-Sanjo is now officially open for registration! This autumn season, embark on a journey with DA&A to Japan’s Niigata Prefecture, where you can immerse yourself in the art of Tsuiki in a traditional tatami workshop!

10 Hours of Free Practice Sessions: Before heading to Japan, enjoy 10 hours of free practice sessions at Sunsmith, Causeway Bay, to learn the basics of the “Tsuiki” technique. Under the guidance of our goldsmith Crystal Liew, build a solid foundation before you go on your journey!

Led by Takeshi Fujii, third-generation coppersmith of Fuukidou, delve deep into the craftsmanship of “Tsuiki” and personally handcraft your own set of sake ware!

Cultural Exploration: Uncover the history and development of Tsubame-Sanjo at the local industrial museum and visit the legend of Japan’s Tsuiki copperware.

Experience Blacksmithing: Transform nails into letter openers!
