1. Deposit Requirement

A single deposit of HK$2,000 is required to register as a bidder for the auction. Upon receipt of the deposit, bidders will be allowed to bid on multiple watches across all auction sessions. The deposit will be fully refunded to all unsuccessful bidders. Payments can be made via credit card or PayPal on the designated website. You may also contact our staff for registration by emailing info@dawnaa.com or via WhatsApp at +852 6099 6025.

2. Buyer Premium

A 3% buyer premium will be applied to all successful bids. Bidders are required to settle the total amount due on the same day as bidding, which includes the hammer price plus 3% of the hammer price. The HK$2,000 deposit will be deducted from this total.

3. Payment

We accept payment by Mastercard / Visa / American Express / UnionPay / bank transfer / FPS / personal cheque / cash for amounts up to HK$50,000.
Failing to settle the outstanding balance of the auction bid on the same day as the bidding will result in the confiscation of the deposit.

4. Refund Process for Unsuccessful Bidders

Unsuccessful bidders will have their HK$2,000 deposit refunded within 14 days after the final auction date (22 February 2025). Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the deposit, and bidders will receive confirmation of their refund.

5. Auction Guidelines

The auction will be conducted as a live auction with options for telephone bidding available (subject to limited availability). Bidders interested in telephone bidding should register with our staff at least 3 working days in advance of the auction date, by emailing info@dawnaa.com or via WhatsApp at +852 6099 6025.

7. Venue

The auction will take place at Dawn Atelier & Academy Gallery - 1701, 17/F, H Queen’s, 80 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong. The event will span two days and feature four sections, totaling 80 lots.

8. Watch Authenticity and Condition

All watches are from the personal collection of Professor Edward Chen Kwan Yiu and are displayed with guaranteed authenticity.
All watches are pre-owned and will be sold as is.
Each watch is accompanied by a warranty issued by Professor Edward Chen Kwan Yiu, covering issues for a period of six months from the date of delivery. This warranty guarantees that the watches will be in normal working condition.

9. Delivery

Successful bidders can collect the watch within 14 working days after the last auction on 22 February 2025. Collection is available at Dawn Atelier & Academy Gallery at H Queen’s in person or by an authorised representative upon proof of identity.
